Maybe it is excitement, laziness or just not being aware. Either way we all need to put much more effort into this step that can either save us a ton of time by helping us realize that our direction is not worth it.
Maybe it can show us that we are heading down the right path, we maybe taking the long route instead of a more practical route.
If you are lucky this can help us realize that we are doing exactly what we need to do in order to reach and even blow past our original goal.
What Is Thought Process Should We have As Bloggers
This is a good question. You ask 10 different bloggers this question and you will get 10 different answers for sure.
So, what thought process should we have when creating a new blog post, social media marketing etc?
Anytime we are dealing with, lets say, 100 people. We are attempting to connect with 100 different personalities, life experiences, hobbies, economic levels and so on. I could have named a lot more but you get the picture.
I am going to lean this topic more towards the marketing side of things since it should be majority of what we do online. You will see some say that marketing should be between 60 and 80 percent of the time you spend online.
Find whatever system works best for you and your niche but either way, marketing is majority of what we should be doing.
Like I mentioned above how do we find the best way to connect with those 100 people. Getting them to our blog is just the beginning.
We have to convert them into subscribers, sales etc to really take full advantage of them coming to our website.
Take a look at this well put together infographic below so you can fully take in what I am about to share with you.
What Are We Overlooking
In this infographic you can see a really good list of steps we should take when we are planning on marketing our content.
It refers to marketing in the moment but these are great tips to follow regardless.
Look at the steps again and realize what step you are actually sharing your content? You don’t actually share you content until deep into the list.
You have to go through several steps of Research and planning before you actually begin sharing your content with the world.
We have to put a health amount of time into research in order to help of achieve more with our blogs and businesses.
I for one know the feeling of being overly excited about something and being impatient. I really have to fight the feeling but It has proven to be beneficial in the end.
If you don’t feel confident in doing your own research or testing. Find an authority person to follow or a blog that is in your niche and doing similar things you want to achieve.
Start by incorporating their methods. If it is working for them, it is possible it can work for you. This is not always the case but a good place to start.
How much time do you put into research, if any?
